BKW Italia chosen by ENEL Green Power to maintain three wind farms in Italy

BKW Italia has been awarded a major Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract by Enel Green Power, an Enel Group company that develops and manages renewable energy creation worldwide. The contract covers service and maintenance work for three wind farms in Abruzzo, Molise and Campania. It entered into force in October for a period of three years. BKW Italia guarantees the provision of services from its Service Center in Troia, in the province of Foggia.

This contract from a major multinational in the energy sector represents an important step in implementing BKW’s servicing and management strategy for third-party plants. BKW will make a significant contribution to the operation thanks to its expertise and experience in the wind power sector, particularly in the key technologies used in the construction of wind turbines (Vestas, Enercon, General Electrics and Senvion). It can thus guarantee the best possible yield and availability for the plant owner.
